    Optometrist

Dr. Rebecca Kiraly-Qualls is an alumnus of University of Richmond and the Pennsylvania College of Optometry. In 1988, she opened the Swift Creek Eye Center, and for over 30 years, she has lived in the community that she has served. Her husband, Lowell Qualls, is a local pastor and her two sons, Ryan and Daniel, graduated from Cosby High School.

By invitation, she has been a member of two highly specialized national optometric groups, the Society of Contact Lens Specialists and American Society of Eye Care Specialists, as well as being an active member of the Richmond Optometric Society and the American Optometric Association.

In addition to providing patients with quality eye care, she has been extensively involved in community service throughout Richmond. Dr. Kiraly-Qualls was part of the founding board of Embrace Richmond, a non-profit community development organization committed to transforming under-privileged neighborhoods. She has also done pastoral care in the church community, including leading several bible studies.

As an optometrist, Dr. Kiraly-Qualls feels that it’s just as important to meet the personal needs of her patients as it is to provide excellent eye care.
